Membership, Retirees and Friends,

I wanted to take a moment to extend my sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the Local S-6 Hot Dog Luncheon and MDA Bake Sale. This event has become the de facto annual AFD/Local S-6 family reunion. However, as much fun as we have, it is an absolute ton of work.

There is so much that goes into event preparation; from purchasing the food & beverages (DOUG!!!), advertisement, set up, serving and take down (B-SHIFT!!!), it is labor-intensive. Additionally, without the bake sale contributions, we wouldn’t be able to raise money for the kids who are battling muscular dystrophy.

Because of your generosity, we raised $1,191.56 for MDA. Incredible! It really is something to see what we accomplish when we come together for a common goal. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
