Local S-6 would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Jon Kauffmann on his promotion from rank of Firefighter to rank of Driver. Jon joined Airport Fire on Tuesday 22nd March 2011 with his official promotion date to Driver being Saturday 5th December 2020. Unfortunately, due to his ongoing battle against Glioblastoma (brain cancer), Jon retired from Airport Fire effective Monday 14th December 2020. Jon brought an unprecedented level of positivity and energy to his role throughout his 9-year, 9-month tenure. He is and will continue to be deeply missed by his Local S-6 Brothers and Sisters.
